SNOM M55 Handsets - Incorrect time showing

Information: A known issue with Snom M55 handsets not taking the timezone set on a domain or user level, including override codes, has been reported to our vendor. As a workaround, manually setting the Time and Date via the Web GUI was tested and proven to resolve this issue.

This article provides information on how to resolve incorrect time showing on your SNOM M55 handsets.

Prerequisites:
Access to the SNOM M500's web GUI

1. Log in to the Snom M500's Web GUI via the IPv4 Address.
    Username: admin
    Password: 7627

2. Once logged in, navigate to the “Servicing" tab.

3. Find "Time and Date" settings and adjust the time accordingly.

4. Click "Save" to reflect the Time and Date.

NOTE: You may need to unpair and re-pair the handsets to the base if the applied change does not reflect immediately.

To Unpair a Snom M55 handset:
1. Go to Menu > Settings > User settings > Registration > Deregistration.
2. Select the handset
3. Enter the PIN (default 0000 or Locked), and press OK.

To pair the handset again:

Ensure the handset shows "Device not registered to base station," then press Reg.

1. Highlight "LINK key on Base" and press Sel (or select Auto reg for IPEI setup).
2. On the base station, press and hold the LINK key for four seconds until the power and SIP LEDs flash green.
3. On the handset, press and hold the # key to start registration.
4. The handset will show "Registering... Please Wait," beep, and display "Handset registered" when done.
