Create a SIP Trunk
Prerequisites:
- Reseller or higher User scope
- IP Address of the PBX
- Existing domain for the client
Notes:
Note1 - Caller ID must follow the NPANXX standard. The area code (NPA) must be a valid area code and the NXX must be a valid NXX. If the caller ID is not valid, then calls will not route properly and will need to be corrected before calls can be successfully made.
Note2 - Due to the lack of control on settings with PBX's, any SIP trunk that is created, the partner and/or client is responsible for any fraudulent calls that may arise from the device or connection being compromised.
Note3 - For the greatest level of security, it is recommended to use a static IP registration (our preferred method) vs the username and password registration.
