You can request a new phone number with particular preferences:

• Starting Digits: If you want numbers beginning with specific digits (e.g., '4').
• Ending Digits: If you want numbers ending in a specific sequence.

Such requests are typically facilitated through a vanity number search. This service increases the chances of finding a number that matches your preferences but does not guarantee availability.

Vanity Number Search

Request Submission: Submit your request for a number with specified starting or ending digits and desired geographical area (rate center).

• Processing: A vanity number search is completed in the target area's database.
• Timeline: The search may take approximately 10–15 business days to complete..

Default Assignment Option

If no specific starting or ending digits are needed, you can opt for a random assignment of the next available number in your desired area.

Vanity Number Search Fee: Requesting a vanity number is a paid service that incurs a non-refundable fee. Please talk to your representative for rates. This charge applies even if no matching number is found.

Key Considerations

• Less than 5 percent of Vanity Number searches yield favourable results, and each successful search comes at a cost; therefore, this tool should be used wisely.
• Aiming for a shorter match to digits is advised. For Example: 555-BAD-TIRE = 7 digits, however, 555-555-TIRE = 4 digits, the latter will have a higher likelihood of availability. 
• City/Rate Center, Province/State - For the City or Rate center you can provide one or both. The availability of customized numbers depends on the region and existing allocations.
• Service Type: Select the service which will be associated with this number.
• Desired Match: Enter the words or digits you would like to include in your vanity search.
• Notes, Submitter Email Address and Phone Number. Add any notes or information you would like to share with the porting department. Please provide an accurate email address and telephone number in the applicable boxes for all updates and confirmation emails.
