UC Hospitality Installation Page

For the installation page features to work Call Accouting (from the Hotel page) must be enabled. it can be disabled post install if not in use.
Access to the UC Hospitality portal with a scope of Reseller.
Installation Assist Page
The Installation Assist page and app list items to test and things to do to complete a successful installation. Most items are marked tested automatically, but there is also a manual list of items that must be checked off when done.
Once Call Accounting is enabled from the Hotel Page, the Installation button will be available in the left-hand navigation bar. Select "Installation" to open the page.
When the installation is marked as complete, the system will also email the customer and project managers you designate. The customer email lists what was tested and allows the customer to sign off on the installation.

- Select the Installation tab to open the Installation Assist Page.
- Automated Testing (Rooms, Admin and System)
Most of the system testing is marked complete automatically as the installation progresses.
- Rooms are marked tested when a call is made from the room (i.e. to 888 or 0)
- Admin phones are marked tested as soon as they are registered.
- Both admin and guest phones can have exceptions added (e.g., jack issue, missing phone), and doing so will show the phone as tested but yellow, not green.
- System testing happens automatically when these features are tested (i.e. calls to 933, calls to 0)
- Checklist: These items are checked manually as completed. These can be checked from the UC Hospitality GUI or the mobile App.
- Mobile App: Once logged in, you can access four pages using the page selection at the bottom of the app.
- Checklist: Mark system testing as done, view remaining testing.
- Admin: View and test admin phones.
- Rooms: View and test guest room phones.
- Profile: Edit profile picture.
Actions
One of the most powerful aspects of the mobile app is the ability to perform actions on a guest room phone, these include:
- Call the phone
- Set MWI and voicemail
- Set room status
- Send a billable call from the room to the PMS (if installed)
- Set a wakeup call for 1 minute in the future
Exceptions can also be set, along with being able to add notes and take pictures, should the need arise. Finally, the app displays the last call made to or from the phone, allows it to be marked for review (using the notes field in the call history page), and displays the MAC address for the registered gateway.

- The "Setup Login Link User" button allows a contractor or smart-hands tech to log in. This method differs from that of a regular user in two ways.
- They are allowed to access this one domain only.
- Their account is valid for one week; after that, it's automatically deleted.
Completing the Installation & Emails
Once the installation has been completed, the Complete Installation button can be clicked. Doing this will allow users to select the section from which they receive the installation summary email.
An installation can be marked complete only once, make sure to select the correct user and ensure they have a valid email setup.
The user will receive an email summarizing the installation, allowing them to click a link to mark it as done. The PM will also receive an email with all internal notes and any pictures taken.
