PLACE A CALL

To place a call by Handset:

1. Pick up the handset.

2. Enter the number.

3. Press the Send soft key.

To place a call by Headset:

1. Press the Handset hard key (the light will be green).

2. Enter the number.

3. Press the Send soft key.

 To place a call by speakerphone:

1. Press the Speakerphone key or Line key, and you can hear the dial tone.

2. Press the number.

3. Press the Send soft key.

To place a call from the Call History:

1. Press the History soft key or navigate Menu -> History -> Local History.

2. Select the desired call history.

3. Press the Send soft key.

To place a call from the Directory:

1. Press the Directory soft key or navigate Menu -> Directory -> Local Contacts.

2. Select the desired contact from a contact group.

3. Press the Send soft key.

Making multiple calls:

When you are in a call, you can hold your current call and place a new call.

1. Press the Hold Softkey to place the current call on hold.

2. Press the New Call soft key.

3. Dial another number,

4. Press the Send soft key.

 

END A CALL

To end a call by Handset

Press the EndCall soft key in handset mode or hang up the handset.
 

To end a call under Headset Mode

In headset mode, press the EndCall soft key or the headset key.
  

To end a call under Speakerphone Mode

Press the EndCall soft key in speakerphone mode or the speakerphone hey. 
 

REDIAL A CALL 

To redial the last placed call from the IP Phone:
Press the Redial key directly when the LCD is on the idle interface.

 

RECEIVE A CALL

There are three ways to receive a call when the phone is ringing:
 

To receive a call on the handset

Pick up the handset.

To receive a call with the headset

 Press the Headset key.

 To receive a call by speakerphone

Option 1: Press the speakerphone key directly.

Option 2: Press the Answer soft key.

Option 3: Press the Line key (flashing red indicator by default).
 

The soft keys can perform other actions when a call comes in.

  1. Press the Reject soft key to reject the call.
  2. Press the Forward soft key to forward to another phone.
  3. Press the Silence soft key. The call will stop ringing, but the incoming call notification will continue to display. 

When you use the DND feature, the phone rejects all incoming calls automatically. The DND icon is shown at the Top of the LCD on the idle page.

CALL HOLD/RESUME

When using the Hold feature, the party that is held may hear music played by the server.
 

To hold/resume a call:
 
  1. Press the Hold soft key to hold the current call.
  1. Press the Resume soft key to resume the call on hold.
     

CALL MUTE

When you use the Mute feature, the other parties will not hear your voice, but you can hear their voice. Call mute applies to all modes (handset, headset, and speakerphone).
 


 Press the Mute key to mute the call during a call (including a conference call). To disable the mute function, press the Mute key again.
 

VOICEMAIL

This phone supports voicemail. You can press the message key to listen to it when there is a message. A text Notification will be displayed on the phone's LCD.


 

To configure the Voice Mail feature via the Phone interface:

  1. Press Menu -> Messages -> Voice Mail -> Set Voice Mail.
  2. Enter the Account No. 
  3. Press the Save soft key to save the configuration.
     

VOICEMAIL OPTIONS

To access your voicemail, either press the Message button or dial 5001. You will be prompted to enter your PIN; then you will be provided with the following voicemail options:
 

CALL TRANSFER

There are three transfer modes: Blind, Assisted, and Semi-Assisted Transfer.

Blind Transfer

  1. Press the transfer or soft transfer key when you are on a call, and the current call will be held. 
  2. Enter the number you want to transfer to.
  3. Press the Transfer key again or the B Transfer soft key to complete the blind transfer.

Semi-Attended Transfer

  1. Press the Transfer or soft transfer key when on a call; the current call will hold.
  2. Enter the number you want to transfer to.
  3. Press the Send soft key.
  4. When you hear the ringback tone, press the Transfer key again or the soft transfer key to complete the semi-attended transfer.
