Teams Trunk Failover

Fail over 

  • Teams trunks will follow the DNS SRV record of sip.siplogin.ca and change registration when server maintenance has been initiated.
  • If they do not return registration it can cause some issues as listed below



Symptoms

  1.  Teams trunks are not supported using YOW as a fallback at this time and it will create loops when calling in or out


Fix

  1. If you are having the call looping issue on a teams trunk, please set the proxy to core2-yyc.iplogin.ca then save and resync
  2. Once the server has switched reservations call should be working as inteded
