Capture PCAP From Htek Devices
When troubleshooting a particularly difficult networking issue that is affecting one or more phones collecting a packet capture from the device can provide insightful details to yourself, your IT company, or our support team.
Prerequisites
- Access to the phone web interface via a web browser
- The username and password to access the phone
Access The Phone
Log into the device using the username and password from your web browser
Click 1) Management, then 2) Tools
Perform A Packet Capture
When you are ready to start your test, click Start
Perform the call or test to replicate the problem. When you are done, click Stop.
Click Export to download a copy of the PCAP file
